Phases Magazine

Many thanks to Phases Magazine for publishing an excerpt from my portfolio The Sea, A Mirror. I’m a big fan of Phases, especially their daily instagram offerings that often take my breath away.

“Phases Magazine (started on December 2012) is an online magazine that focuses on international contemporary photography. We are publishing weekly a selection of 3 portfolios. Phases Magazine is a form of exploration of beauty into the field of fine art photography.”

Archipelago: Contemporary Art of the Salish Sea

I am honored to have my work included in Archipelago- Contemporary Art of the Salish Sea. Opening reception is this Friday, April 21st at ArtSpring on Salt Spring Island.

"2023 will see a unique and important cultural exchange between two of North America’s most celebrated arts communities – the San Juan Islands of Washington State, USA and the Southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Canada. In a celebration of artistic life in the Salish Sea, art and culture will move between the islands, exploring the differences and similarities within these creative communities. In Archipelago - Contemporary Art of the Salish Sea, three major exhibitions form the basis of this unique exchange of ideas, featuring work from some of the finest visual artists living and working in the archipelago.”

Tide and Air - Limited Edition Artist Book

Announcing Tide and Air, a collaboration between Barbara Bosworth, Alyssa Minahan and myself. Emily Sheffer at the Dust Collective did an incredible job producing this limited edition artist book. It is such an honor to work with these two women. I adore them both and deeply respect their work. The invitation to collaborate on a project as I was moving from Boston back to the West Coast was a thread that kept us connected and creating through many transitions. The book is a meditation on the passage of time and photographic qualities of air and water. Copies are available for purchase at the Dust Collective website or from the studio.
