This limited edition book was made in collaboration with Samantha Bates and Lucang Huang. It consists of 100 hand painted images - archival pigment print, graphite, wax - in a custom clamshell box. The inspiration for the book comes from a Herman Melville quote, “Meditation and water are wedded forever”. The viewer is encouraged to flip through and stack the individual images to bring forth a sense of meditation.
